What camera was used?

Images with a reference number of ISMACD... followed by four digits were captured using an 11.1 megapixel Canon EOS 1Ds digital camera, while all newer images (numbered ISMACD_F or 83F then a four digit number) have been captured with a medium format 21.1 megapixel EOS 1Ds Mk III and are therefore, available in larger sizes.

Print Information

Following a fully colour managed workflow, all prints are produced on Epson Stylus Pro printers and therefore, utilise Epson’s superb UltraChrome K3 ink set.

The Papers

My preferred papers are Harman Baryta Fibregloss ( by Hahnemhüle) and Hahnemühle 308g Photo rag matte paper. Both of these papers are archival exhibition quality and feature excellent detail, colour accuracy and tonal range that result in prints that equal, if not surpass (now no empty claim!), that which is possible in a darkroom and which will last for just as long - in excess of a hundred years if properly framed behind UV protective glass. My particular favourite is the Baryta Fibregloss. A true photographic paper and made in the same way as its traditional darkroom predecessor, the results on this paper are simply stunning. But if you know your papers it's simply a choice of gloss or matte. Please be aware that care should be taken to avoid scuffing the delicate surface of the Photo rag. This should be borne in mind particularly when framing.

To avoid the potential pitfalls of posting framed images - and since I genuinely believe that framing is best done locally, to accurately compliment your own decor - all prints are unframed, and dispatched in sealed plastic bags inside secure wide bore image grade tubes.

Sizes and Pricing

The sizes right refer to the image dimensions. Not all images are printed at all the sizes stated and there are some occasional odd sizes, but all prints have a minimum border of one inch (approx 2.5cm) on at least two sides.

All prices are inclusive of VAT and post and packing worldwide. Please be aware that whilst every effort will be made to dispatch your print "much" sooner, all images are printed to order and not held in stock so please allow up to 21 days for dispatch. As soon as I'm aware of your order, I will e-mail you a confirmation and let you know when your order is dispatched along with tracking details should you wish to use them.

Limited Editions

Limited Edition prints are collector series reproduced in low numbers (for me, usually 50 and good value for the price). Each series has a specific number of copies for a given size and when the series sells out no more prints will be produced for that specific image and size. All prints are signed (on the reverse in the case of the gloss paper), numbered (i.e: 5/ 50) in pencil, and come accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by me.
